“Healthy food festival” starts in April in all “Grabli” restaurants!

In spring we, restless inhabitants of the metropolis, are met not only by warm sun and fragrance of the first leaves, but with lack of energy, fatigue, sleepiness, and frequent colds as well. In other words, vitamin deficiency, which leads to premature aging of the organism. We are sure such perspectives doesn’t make good sense, that is when spring is here we recommend to become focused on your health.

It’s necessary to start with proper nutrition. Everyone knows that food should be balanced, light, rich in vitamins and relevant to the season. Our talented chefs have made a perfectly balanced and vitamin-rich menu, based on these principles. Here is an example of a healthy dieteric lunch in the “Grabli” restaurant. We selected salad, soup, main course and dessert. Attention vegetarians! We have an offer for you to replace the soup this afternoon with vegetarian borscht or cabbage soup with fresh cabbage and mushrooms, and a main dish — potato, fried with mushrooms or eggplant baked with tomato and tofu (or any other vegetarian food, we have a lot of it).

Let’s come back to our lunch:

Green salad with soy sauce and pepitas. Filling: lettuce mix, spinage, cucumbers,leek, carrot, tomatoes, pepitas, sauce (kikkoman sauce, oil, sugar, garlic, lemon juice concentrate).

  • Leaf salad. It gives the body a maximum amount of biologically active substances with a minimum amount of ballast. It contains large amount of B1 and B9 vitamins, beta-carotene — a precursor of vitamin A, ascorbic acid, vitamins E and PP. This set supports the body’s defenses.
  • Spinach. Its leaves have plenty of protein. It removes toxins from the body. Due to the high iron content it helps hemoglobin to become more active and better supply cells with oxygen. It improves metabolism.
  • Carrot. It is the most rich in vitamin A (beta — carotene) vegetable. It is rich in potassium, calcium, iron, manganese, magnesium and phosphorus. Excellent antioxidant. Cleans blood.
  • Tomatoes.  They contain vitamins B, A, C and E. Strengthen the immune system. Reduce the amount of cholesterol in the blood and improve digestion.
  • Cucumbers. They contain potassium. It is required for normal functioning of kidneys and heart. In addition, they contain large amount of iodine, iron, and other essential micronutrients.
  • Leek. It contains vitamins B2, B1, E, C, magnesium, potassium, phosphorus, sodium, folic acid, and carotene.
  • Pepitas. Contain zinc, manganese, copper, vitamins A, B, C, K, E.

Broccoli cream soup. Filling: potato, broccoli, cauliflower, spinage, dairy cream, vegetable bouillon, salt.

 — Potato. Its tubers contain water, proteins, carbohydrates, potassium, B vitamins, vitamins A, C, E, H, PP, minerals, iodine and starch, they are high in fiber and potassium.
— Сauliflower. This vegetable has more vitamin C and A than lemon. Much iron, potassium, calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. Plus a rare enough vitamin U, which is involved in the formation of enzymes, and biotin helps to cope with chronic fatigue.
— Broccoli. In addition to vitamins A, E, C, B, PP and minerals, it contains carotene, which is not contained in cauliflower. Lots of vitamin C. More protein than in any other kind of cabbage.

Grilled chicken fillet. Simple and delicious: chicken breast, spice, sauce, made of ketchup and garlic, fresh tomatoes, vinegar, vegetable oil and herbs.

 — Chicken breast. This meat is rich in high-quality proteins, vitamins, amino acids and minerals. There is very little cholesterol.
— Garlic. Since ancient times, garlic is known to benefit immunity, and restore vitality. It contains phytosterols, polysaccharide inulin, carbohydrates, salts, iodine, phosphorus, magnesium, organic acids, is rich in vitamins and trace elements.

Dessert with tofu and peach in berry sauce. Cranberry, sugar, tofu and peach.

— Cranberry. Rich in vitamin C, fiber and vitamin E.
— Tofu. There is a lot of protein with a composition close to the animal protein. However, unlike animal protein products, tofu reduces cholesterol indicators by almost 30%.
